Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! There comes a moment in every person’s life when the noise of the world grows too loud, the expectations of others feel too heavy, and the path ahead looks blurry. AFFIRMATIONS

Affirmations will help you to focus on improving yourself. You can spend 5 – 10 minutes in meditation, journaling, or yoga with mantras. Self-love, positivity, open-mindedness, help set you in the right direction. Designate a time in the morning and at night when you can recite affirmations aloud. By saying them aloud, you hear the powerful words, and it can help you internalize them as true. The key to seeing a positive change in life is to say the affirmations with conviction and make it a personal experience.

Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! As I sit here reflecting on how great God is, I can’t help but wonder why we won’t simply be still, step out of His way, and allow Him to restore our souls—especially as we lean into restoring hope through soul‑centered journaling.

When I think of hope, I think of beauty that’s all around me and positive vibes that flow from within. Hope is like a beautiful flower that thrives on sunlight and water. In a spiritual sense, hope relies on your daily commitment to God’s Word, prayer, faith, and worship.

SOUL-CENTERED JOURNALING

Soul‑centered journaling is a reflective writing practice that helps you slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the deepest parts of yourself—your faith, your purpose, your emotions, and your spiritual identity. It’s less about documenting your day and more about creating space for God, healing, and inner clarity to rise to the surface.

Keep these tips in mind as you prepare to start this writing practice:

You write with intention, not performance.
You focus on what your soul needs—rest, clarity, forgiveness, courage, or direction.
You allow God to speak to you through reflection, scripture, or quiet listening.
You create space for honesty, vulnerability, and spiritual alignment.

In reality, most people fail many times before they succeed so never stop hoping for positive change to happen in your life. One way you can do this is by journaling on a regular basis. Journaling provides a safe place for you to speak truth and to find comfort without judgment.

Here’s some helpful ways to restore hope through soul-centered journaling:

Set realistic journaling goals each week and establish a writing routine that fits into your current lifestyle. You may need to rearrange your daily tasks, wake up earlier or spend time writing before bed time.
Practice self-awareness, whole-body breathing, and cultivate stillness within you. Focus on your breath inside your body and nothing else. This will help you regain energy.
Nurture what inspires you, the simple pleasures of life through your thoughts, feelings, energy, and actions.
Begin to visualize yourself finding hope again after your goals are achieved. Take a moment and ask yourself what life looks like after the goals are reached, then spend a few minutes every day picturing yourself in that very same life.
Evaluate your progress as you move through the steps you’ve identified as necessary to reach your journaling goals and adjust your efforts as needed along your journey.
Look at what you’ve already achieved, think about your strengths, think about what’s important to you, and where you want to go in life.
Build the knowledge you need to succeed, focus on the basics, set small goals, and achieve them.
Make time for self-reflection often to examine one’s own thoughts, feelings, and emotions to gain better insight of one’s life.

The importance of hope is immeasurable. Continue to seek out positivity and recognize you can change your life at any point. Many of us need to look forward to the future and stop focusing on past experiences. You never know what tomorrow may bring so keep hope alive through soul-centered journaling.

Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! Let’s open up a conversation focused on self-love. Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. Self-love is usually taught to us as children and as we grow, we begin to nurture everything within us, both good and bad. Self-love requires you to be honest about your current choices and thought patterns. Remember, self-love is not a selfish act, but instead it forces you to undertake new practices and ways of thinking that reflects your self-worth.

WAYS TO PRACTICE SELF-LOVE AND CREATE HEALTHY HABITS

You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anyone. – Maya Angelou

Now, here’s something else to think about. Self-love, self-respect, self-worth, and self-care. There is a reason why they all start with “self” because you can’t find them in anyone else. You cannot truly love another person until you know how to love yourself. When we act in ways that expand self-love in us, we begin to accept ourselves more in the moment, have less need to explain away our short-comings, and are more centered in our life purpose and values.

Here’s some ways to practice self-love and create healthy habits along your journey:

Become mindful. People who practice self-love often tend to know what they think, feel, and want. They are mindful of who they are and act on this knowledge, rather than on what others want for them. Remember, always be true to yourself and respect your values.
Create a self-care routine that you practice regularly. Nourish yourself daily through healthy activities, like nutrition, exercise, proper sleep, intimacy, and healthy social interactions. Give yourself a positive peptalk each day, read an inspirational book, or listen to an uplifting podcast/song.
Calm your mind. Spend time in prayer, meditation, reading, or writing. You can try writing in your journal, walking outside, reading a book, practicing breathing exercises or yoga.
Set healthy boundaries. You’ll love yourself more when you set limits or say no to work or activities that deplete you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Instead, prioritize yourself and designate time to do things that make you happy.
Forgive yourself. Show yourself some grace and practice being less hard on yourself when you make a mistake. Give yourself a break from self-judgement. Remember, there are no failures. There are only lessons learned.
Celebrate wins, both big and small. Always cherish and celebrate everything good that happens in your life no matter how big or small.
Cultivate a positive and safe place. Take time to clean and declutter your area. Then, add finishing touches to your space, such as new lighting, scented candles, plants, etc.
Live intentionally. Live with purpose and design. Make plans and accomplish what you set out to do.

I have found that when I make time to practice self-love on a regular basis, I am a better person. I am more disciplined throughout my day, feel rested, and ready to conquer the world. I challenge you today to appreciate yourself just the way you are and then strive to become better each day. When you learn to love you, then others will love you the way you deserve to be loved in return.

SELF-LOVE AFFIRMATIONS

Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love. – Brene Brown

Like I’ve stated before, self-love is not selfish. You cannot love another person until you know how to love yourself. Work on being in love with the person in the mirror who has been through so much in life but is still standing. Look in a mirror today and say these words out loud – I love myself today because I am beautiful, I am strong, I am powerful, I am fabulous, I am unique, I am blessed, I am smart. Repeat this exercise at least 3 times per day.

Here’s some additional self-love affirmations that you can practice reciting each day:

I value myself and I am proud of who I am.
I am beautiful, kind, and smart.
I am an unstoppable force.
I accept myself completely here and now.
I am healing more and more every day.
I am surrounded by love and prosperity.
I am worthy of all the blessings coming my way.
I release all doubts and insecurities about myself.
I am resilient and can get through anything.
I nourish my body with healthy food and exercise.
I deserve to love myself and to be loved by others.
I have the ability to overcome any challenge in my life.

Now, be creative and create your own self-love affirmations to describe yourself. Allow this to be your daily pep talk in the morning and repeat them throughout the day. Remember, when we love ourselves, it helps us feel our best in the inside, and when we feel our best, we can give more to those around us. I truly hope I’ve sparked a bit of inspiration for you to grow more confident and comfortable in your own skin.

Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! Guess who’s back? I stepped away from writing inspirational content for way too long. I’ve really missed you and the writing process. Well, let’s start with two very important topics, healthy habits and mindfulness journaling.

DEFINITION – HEALTHY HABITS & MINDFULNESS JOURNALING

Let’s begin with establishing the definitions of HEALTHY HABITS & MINDFULNESS JOURNALING.

HEALTHY HABITS (noun): Consistent, conscious, and repetitive behaviors that improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being serving as the foundation for long-term health and disease prevention. Examples may include balanced nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep, stress management, and maintaining healthy social connections.

MINDFULNESS JOURNALING (noun): A practice that involves writing down your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a non-judgmental way. It helps you connect with inner self, deepen your awareness, and cultivate inner pace.

Mindfulness journaling is a great way to release restless thoughts and emotions so you can be in a better headspace. Even if you include mindfulness journaling for a few moments each day, you will begin to heal any emotional, physical or mental wounds that may have been caused by negativity from others or internally.

Here’s some great mindfulness journaling tips to help you get started:

Create a quiet, calm, and safe space to write.
Set a clear intention, slow down, and write with awareness.
Be present, be mindful, and breathe slowly to ground yourself.
Allow your thoughts to flow freely and write about anything that comes to mind.
Shift your writing from negative to positive so you can be ready to receive a different outcome.
Live in the moment and bring an open, accepting and discerning attention to everything you do.
Be consistent and write in your journal every day to create a new healthy habit.

I want to encourage you to pause for a moment and look within. Create awareness of your overall energy, how you feel and what you’re thinking. Mindfulness journaling can be another form of self-reflection. It can make you aware of negative patterns in your behavior so you can focus on the present moment.

What is it that you need to focus on within your life, right now, in this very moment? During your lifelong journey, it’s important for you to speak positive words into your soul. Despite the hurt you may feel or the sadness you experience in life, often times you forget that the power to overcome life’s challenges is already inside you. If you feel lost or defeated, it’s because the heart and mind are not working in harmony, when they work together you will find peace. Although, there’s a lot of benefits of mindfulness journaling to consider, here’s a few that I want to share with you.

Mindfulness Journaling:

Helps you think more critically about your life.
Reduces stress and anxiety by keeping you in the present moment.
Allows you to recognize and release negative thoughts and feelings.
Increases your happiness in life and improves your mood.
Encourages inner peace and a feeling of well-being.
Provides self-discovery, self-awareness, and moments of reflection.
Helps you gain clarity in your life, better memory and cognitive skills.
Increases creativity and positivity.
Builds resilience and confidence.
Helps to organize and process your thoughts and feelings.
Improves your sleep and overall mental wellness.

As you can see, making the decision to practice mindfulness journaling daily will bring peace, and emotional healing into your life one journal entry at a time. What’s your story or experience concerning journaling? It’s important to allow yourself to feel and to express yourself honestly throughout this process.

I choose to reflect on inspiring quotes, affirmations and/or scriptures that are hidden in my heart during my journaling time in order to rise up above my problems, situations, depression, sadness, hurt, etc. Remember, this is a personal journey. Be sure to show yourself some grace while starting your new mindfulness journaling experience. It’s important for you to find your safe place and surround yourself with God’s love, peace, and joy throughout the process.

Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! It has been a while since we’ve connected in this safe space. Like many of you, I have been busy trying to stay afloat with life challenges, but through it all, I am still here ready to encourage and inspire you. Today, let’s discuss the benefits from living more intentional. It’s really not that complicated. Once you decide to live a more intentional lifestyle, you must clearly identify your:

Purpose in life
Passions you wish to pursue
Beliefs and core values
Personal goals
Commitment to make lifestyle changes

Let’s take a moment to review the definition:

INTENTIONAL (adjective): Performed with awareness; done deliberately, consciously, or on purpose.

Intentional living is all about focusing on your purpose, beliefs, and core values. Believe it or not, anyone can choose to live more intentional, but the key to success is understanding what this concept means to you on a personal level. Once you have a clear understanding, then you need to make necessary adjustments within your lifestyle to work toward this end goal.

BENEFITS FROM LIVING MORE INTENTIONAL

If you’re going to grow, you have to be intentional. – Curt Kampmeier

Intentional living means having the courage to live the life you truly want, rather than settling for a life that others expect of you. You don’t have to overhaul your entire life; just choose an area of your life to infuse intentionality into activities you’re already doing and actions you’re already taking. For example, if you decide to establish a more productive morning routine, then examine what you already do and add something like, “I will wake up 15 minutes earlier to exercise or to write in my journal”. When you make the decision to live more intentional, you will notice many benefits, such as:

Identifying Your Values – Understand what your core beliefs and values are. This will help you to manage work-life balance and boost your resilience and self-confidence. You will also experience more enjoyment and pleasure out of life.

Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! Life’s challenges have really been interrupting my writing flow, but the latest challenge encouraged me to write this blog post. As you may or may not have heard, President Trump’s latest Executive Order to close the various Job Corps locations hit close to home. My youngest son really struggled in high school these last two years, so he started the Job Corps program in April 2025. Just when he started to get used to his daily routine and class schedule, he and other students were given two-day notice to vacate the premises.

This was a stressful time for me as a concerned parent but imagine the fear and anxiety that these young adults felt facing homelessness and having no family to turn to. The Job Corps staff and the City of Detroit stepped in quickly to assist with finding safe housing options for the young adults who needed assistance.

Now, this was my latest example of experiencing mental fatigue. What’s yours? When your emotions seem to be all over the place, it is important to identify and connect with your thoughts and feelings. During this challenging time, make sure to focus on practicing self-care and have your positive support network established. Your positive support network could consist of your family, friend(s), clergy, or a licensed therapist/counselor.

DEFINITION – MENTAL FATIGUE

Let’s begin with establishing the definition of MENTAL FATIGUE.

Mental fatigue, also known as mental exhaustion, is a state of tiredness caused by prolonged cognitive activity or stress, leading to a decline in cognitive performance and energy levels.

Mental fatigue is characterized by:

Difficulty concentrating
Impaired decision-making
General feeling of being drained

In addition, you may notice behavioral changes and physical symptoms that may occur, such as:

Emotional sensitivity or mood swings
Change in appetite
Lack of motivation
Increased irritability or anger
Headaches
Digestive issues
Trouble sleeping

RELAXING THE MIND

Your calm mind is the ultimate weapon against your challenges. So relax. – Bryant McGill

Relaxation is not an escape from reality, but it is a return to ourselves. Take time to observe how you really feel and don’t be afraid to challenge your negative thoughts or feelings. Remember, rest your mind, calm will follow.

Here’s some ways to help relax the mind when you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed:

Sit or lay in a quiet place
Visualize yourself calm and at peace
Take slow, deep breaths with your eyes closed
Practice mindful meditation, prayer or yoga
Listen to soothing music or an inspirational podcast
Read a good book
Write in your journal or notebook
Exercise or go for a walk outdoors
Talk to someone you trust (family, friends, co-workers, therapist)
Soak in a warm bath with your eyes closed
Manage workload or extra-curricular activities
Limit screen time and social media
Sip on a warm beverage
Get adequate sleep

MENTAL WELLNESS AFFIRMATIONS

Affirmations will help you to focus on improving yourself. You can spend 5 – 10 minutes in meditation, journaling, or yoga with mantras. Designate a time in the morning and at night when you can recite affirmations aloud while looking at yourself in the mirror. The key to seeing a positive change in life is to say the affirmations with conviction and make it a personal experience.

Every day I plan to set aside quality time for mental wellness so I can become stronger and more relaxed. After all, I deserve rest and relaxation.

Nothing else will matter.

Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! Let’s start with this question – How often do you seek to embrace God’s presence in your life? For some, this is done daily and for others it is done on an as needed basis. What does it really mean to embrace God’s presence? Well, I believe embracing God’s presence simply means to allow God to guide your every step and decision throughout your spiritual journey.

Here’s some ways for us to embrace God’s presence:

Reading, studying, and meditating on God’s Word
Fasting and praying regularly
Inviting God into your presence and talking to Him
Confessing your sins and repenting to God
Reading daily devotions and inspirational books
Singing praise and worship songs
Listening to sermons and spiritual messages
Writing in your spiritual journal or notebook

Always remember to put God first in everything you do. Don’t forget to acknowledge God’s presence in the simple and more complicated things in life. After all, embracing God’s presence is a choice, so choose wisely and make God a priority in your life.

INDICATIONS OF GOD’S PRESENCE IN OUR LIVES

The glory of God in our lives is the experience and expression of the presence of God. – Patrick Oben

The presence of God is all around us. Take a moment and close your eyes. Relax and breathe slowly. Can you feel God’s presence and anointing right now in this very moment? God inhabits every part of our lives except for the parts that we refuse to share with Him. When we don’t sense God’s presence in our lives and daily routines, it’s not because God leaves us, but it’s because we have not developed a true relationship and deep awareness of God’s presence in our lives. This process takes not only practice, but it also takes commitment and the willingness to surrender to God’s will throughout our lives.

Here’s some important qualities that are indications of God’s presence in our lives:

Peace (Romans 15:33; Philippians 4:9) – When you know God’s presence, you can have inward calm despite chaos around you because He is the God of peace.
Rest, Refreshment (Matthew 11:28; Acts 3:19) – When you acknowledge God’s presence within, you will always have rest and feel refreshed.
Encouragement (Psalm 16:11; 21:6) – When you are aware of God’s presence, you can’t help but be full of joy and gladness because with Him come eternal blessings.
Shelter (Psalm 16:8-11; 31:20) – When you acknowledge God’s presence, you can feel secure and protected at all times.
Enlightenment (Psalm 89:15; 90:8) – When you get in touch with God’s presence, you will allow God to order your steps, then you will follow.
Nearness (Psalm 145:18; James 4:8) – When you bask in God’s presence, you can feel a sense of comfort knowing that God accepts you right where you are and you feel Him close to you.
Contentment (Hebrews 13:5) – When you experience God’s presence, you can be satisfied because you know you have all you need.
Endurance (Psalm 46:1; Isaiah 41:10) – When you spend quality time in God’s presence, you can feel renewed as you find His strength to help move you forward.

As you travel throughout your spiritual journey, there are always obstacles that you encounter, but you must work around them in order to embrace God’s presence and see him clearly in your life. It’s always important to stay away from anything and anyone who blocks you from being in the presence of God. Through this spiritual process, remember to seek God’s face by calling and pleading for Him to fill your presence with His anointing from on high. Only then will you receive the necessary peace, comfort, security, and healing from God. Be peaceful, be happy, be whole.

Psalm 16:11 says, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

When I think of vision, words like sight, dream, imagination, creativity, future, goals and reflection all come to mind. Take a moment and create your own list. Since we are different in many ways, our lists may vary, but our vision should remain the same – to strive for success and accomplishments; to feel happy and full of worth.

Your vision determines your goals.
Your goals determine your plan.
Your plan determines your path.
Your path determines your fate.

As you can see, the process starts with a clearly defined vision. Refining and clarifying the idea along with intentions to achieve it are what turns into your vision that will in time, improve your overall lifestyle. Remember, creating a vision is a process of nurturing and cultivating your ideas, beliefs, and your imagination.

Here’s some ways to refine and support your own vision:

Differentiate between the future that would become real and the future of your vision.
The vision must be about changing that which is likely to occur, rather than changing that “what is”.
Share the vision and help others recognize their importance in the realization of the vision.
Lock onto the vision, make it a way of life, a part of every decision you make.
Become aware of and utilize the natural forces that move toward achievement of your vision.
Avoid, reduce or neutralize those things that lead you away from your vision.
Anticipate resistance in the accomplishment of your vision.

Don’t be afraid to envision the implications of successfully achieving your vision in 2025 and beyond. Step out in faith, create smart goals for yourself, make a plan, and work toward achieving them.

TIPS TO CREATE AN INSPIRING VISION BOARD

Have you ever created a vision board for yourself or your family? If not, what better time to think about creating one. A vision board is a visualization tool which refers to a board of any sort used to build a collage of words and pictures that represent your goals, dreams and/or vision. By placing visual representations of your goals into one space, you can easily visualize them frequently.

Here’s some important tips to create an inspiring vision board:

Purchase a poster board from your local Dollar store or Office Supply store.
Put the year at the top of your vision board so you are clear on where you’re going for the year ahead.
Create a list of goals you’d like to achieve in the next year. In order to visualize your goals, first you need to know what they are. What do you want your ideal life to look like in the new year and beyond?
Collect a bundle of old magazines with beautiful pictures or search online.
Find pictures that represent your goals and inspire you. Focus on how the images make you feel.
Make a collage out of your photos. Once you have collected enough photos, it’s time to make your vision board.
Add motivational “affirmation words” and/or positive quotes that represent how you want to feel. For example, I want to feel joyful, powerful, fearless, loved, strong, healthy, loving and financially free.
Place your vision board somewhere you can see it every day. Then, make time to look at it and meditate on it at least once per day.

Before we go any further, I want to encourage you to pause for a moment and look within. Create awareness of your overall energy, how you feel and what you’re thinking. Mindfulness journaling can be another form of self-reflection. It can make you aware of negative patterns in your behavior so you can focus on the present moment.

What’s the message that you need on today? What is it that you need to focus on within your life, right now, in this very moment? During your lifelong journey, it’s important for you to speak positive words into your soul. Despite the hurt you may feel or the sadness you experience in life, often times you forget that the power to overcome life’s challenges is already inside you. If you feel lost or defeated, it’s because the heart and mind are not working in harmony, when they work together you will find peace. Although, there’s a lot of benefits of mindfulness journaling, here’s a few that I want to share with you.

MINDFULNESS JOURNALING TIPS

Mindfulness journaling is a great way to release restless thoughts and emotions so you can be in a better headspace. Even if you include mindfulness journaling for a few moments each day, you will begin to heal any emotional, physical or mental wounds that may have been caused by negativity from others or internally.

Here’s some great mindfulness journaling tips to help you get started:

Create a quiet, calm, and safe space to write.
Set an intention, slow down, and write with awareness.
Be present, be mindful, and breathe slowly to ground yourself.
Allow your thoughts to flow freely and write about anything that comes to mind.
Be consistent and write in your journal every day to create a new healthy habit.
Shift your writing from negative to positive so you can be ready to receive a different outcome.
Live in the moment and bring an open, accepting and discerning attention to everything you do.

What’s your story or experience concerning journaling? It’s important to allow yourself to feel and to express yourself honestly throughout this process. I choose to reflect on inspiring quotes, affirmations and/or scriptures that are hidden in my heart during my journaling time in order to rise up above my problems, situations, depression, sadness, hurt, etc. Remember, this is a personal journey. Be sure to show yourself some grace while starting your new mindfulness journaling experience. It’s important for you to find your safe place and surround yourself with God’s love, peace, and joy throughout the process.

MINDFULNESS JOURNALING SUGGESTIONS

Create a Gratitude List – To cultivate a positive attitude, begin your day by reflecting on or writing down at least three things you are grateful for. It can be anything, from your favorite hot beverage, the weather or your pet. Explore whatever brings you a smile or a feeling of warmth.
Enjoy Nature – To find focus during the day, take a few moments to appreciate the beauty in nature. Step outside and focus on your senses. What do you see? What sounds do you hear? What do you smell? Are you eating or drinking anything? What do you notice when you touch the grass or plants that are around you?
Focus on Your Breathing – Try inhaling to the count of 5, holding for the count of 3, and exhaling to the count of 5. Imagine breathing in calmness and comfort and breathing out any stress or negative feelings. Repeat for 3 breaths or until you feel calm and more grounded.

Welcome back to Renew Inspiration! As I sit here focusing on my writing, I keep thinking about how good God is to all of us. Sometimes we go through each day without even acknowledging God’s presence in our lives or simply just giving God thanks.

Despite how we sometimes act, God still loves us unconditionally and shows us grace. Grace is that attribute of God that enables us to break free of our sinful nature and follow God’s lead. Grace gives us strength, protection, and much needed direction. Most importantly, undeserved grace changes everything in our lives and all around us.

DEFINITION – GRACE

Let’s begin with establishing the definition of GRACE.

GRACE (noun): The free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.

God’s grace is adequate for anything and everything that you experience in this life. Despite what prompted the hurt or disappointment in your life, know that with time God’s undeserved grace can bring peace, hope, and healing.

GOD’S EXTRAVAGANT GIFT – HIS UNDESERVED GRACE

Grace is a free gift of God, but to receive a gift you must have open hands. – Philip Yancey

God does not withdraw His grace when you stumble or fall. Instead, acting with grace and mercy, God gently picks you up and enables you to take the next step moving forward. You can always find at God’s throne of grace whatever help you need whenever you need it. You can run to God in times of trouble, when your heart is broken, when you’re at life’s crossroads or during the darkest and loneliest nights. Remember, God is waiting for you with open arms to offer you an extravagant gift: His grace. The best thing about that, it cost Him everything, but it costs us nothing. The only payback God asks from us is that we reach out and take the gift. Then, rest assured knowing that you are saved through God’s love and grace.

Now grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the Messiah’s gift. Ephesians 4:7

Spiritual growth begins with salvation given to us as a gift from God. Our daily spiritual growth is also utterly dependent on God’s grace. There are many ways to increase one’s spiritual growth through grace, such as reading God’s Word, allowing God’s Word to dwell in you, and staying in prayer through good and bad times. It’s important to have a clear and thorough understanding throughout this process. Keeping an open mind and meditating on God’s Word will allow you to apply God’s grace in your life so you can break free from mental, emotional and physical bondage.

ACCEPT GOD’S GRACE

Grace is more powerful than sin. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. You don’t have to be perfect, only be a willing vessel and accept God’s grace. God’s grace will break chains in your life that often times keep you stuck with no healthy outlet and give you the freedom you deserve. You can accept God’s grace by doing the following:

JUST ASK – Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” God waits on you to make a request. Jesus treats your past and mistakes you made with grace. Jesus have already taken the weight of it all and left it on the cross.

THROUGH FORGIVENESS – Trust God’s grace by receiving forgiveness. Learn how to forgive yourself and clear your conscience.

PRAISE & WORSHIP – Take time to sing, dance or write God a love note. Express yourself to God often in your own way. Open your heart to receive God’s love and goodness.

The more grace we have and ask God for, the more mature as Christians we will be. I thank God, in His grace, has given us His Son to save us, His Spirit to dwell within us, His Word to instruct us, and His people to encourage us. Hope you will accept God’s grace so your life will be blessed for years to come.
